As a resident, you are encouraged to enjoy as much independence as your particular circumstances permit, acknowledging that within this freedom there are elements of risk and have your safety taken into account.
Privacy
We believe that each resident has the right to privacy, so our staff will always knock on the door and wait before entering.
Respect
We believe that each resident must be treated with respect, their preferred term of address used and their self esteem maintained.
Choice
As a resident you are entitled to as wide a choice as possible with regards to GP, dentist, chiropodist, hairdresser, food, religion, routines of daily living and choice of clothes.
Your voice
As a resident you are encouraged to have access to newspapers and a private telephone and to maintain your voting rights to express your political views.
