Our Mission

The home aims to provide holistic and individual care for residents who are admitted for short or long term care.

We believe the quality of life in old age depends on being able to live to one’s full potential. Beyond the basic requirements of food, shelter and sleep, this means the greatest possible mobility and independence.

We recognise each resident as a unique individual, with a need for creative activity, privacy and fellowship, and the right to be consulted. No resident should feel beholden to anyone for the treatment they receive.

Our overall objective is to relieve pain, suffering, distress and disability, in order that the resident can function to their full potential and retain their independence, dignity and individuality.
